AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Windy afternoon as the front pushes through with gusts near 30 mph. Spotty showers and storms will come to end after sunset. Dry weekend ahead with temperatures slightly cooler than average.

Isolated showers and storms possible this afternoon through sunset. Highs this afternoon will be in the low 70s. It will be windy with winds out of the west between 15-20 mph and gusts 25-30 mph.
Looking dry for the weekend with morning lows in the mid-40s Saturday and low 40s Sunday. Afternoon highs will reach the upper 60s Saturday and low 70s Sunday.
By Monday of next week we can anticipate high temperatures to climb back into the 80s! Not much rain in the forecast next week until Friday. Chilly mornings in the mid-40s are expected Wednesday and Thursday. Keep it here for updates!
