Top Dawg Tavern offers local artists exposure during golf week
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The band Out Past Nashville performed at Top Dawg Tavern until midnight Saturday evening.
But other bands like Perfect Picture and Greg Hester performed earlier.
One band said Saturday night was the perfect opportunity for people to discover new music.
“Well, even though my band has been together 19 years, a lot of people still don’t know . And we don’t usually play in town that much. So, this is a good opportunity for people who have never heard us or don’t know us to get to know us. And, some people from out of town might want to decide that they want our band to come to their town,” said David Heath, band leader, Perfect Picture.

Top Dawg Tavern often has live music, along with other events.
The music went on Saturday until midnight.
