New traffic signal installed near North Augusta High School
NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - A new traffic signal has been installed on West Martintown Road at Knobcone Avenue in North Augusta.
The light is flashing right now to make drivers aware of it.
Augusta now has 2 Whataburgers in easy driving distance
Attention, Whataburger fans of the CSRA: There are now two locations of the cult-favorite fast-food restaurant less than an hour away.

However, it should transition to a fully operational light in a couple of weeks, according to North Augusta officials.
The light is needed because of a projected increase in traffic from development in the area, and its installation was a requirement for the site plan approval of The Parker, an apartment complex. The apartment complex is paying for installation of the light.
