AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - We have some new details on the raid of an Aiken massage parlor that led to two arrests on charges of prostitution.

The arrests stemmed from the case of a handyman who was doing work at Golden Fingers Massage Parlor, at 655 Silver Bluff Road, Suite B, in December 2023, according to the Aiken Department of Public Safety.

While at the business, he observed that a woman age 25-30 was living in a makeshift room that looked like it had been a freezer, according to police.

He said he was doing the work for a woman in her 50s, and when he was done, she offered him sex with the young woman living in the makeshift room in lieu of the $300 fee they had agreed upon, police said.

The handyman declined the offer and left, police said.

He told police that over the course of his work there, he saw people visiting at random times, then leaving after 15 minutes to an hour.

In Aiken County, it appears several - if not all seven parlors hadn’t had their updated licenses for quite some time.
