Anti-Trump protestors rally outside White House
WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - People protested across the United States and in the nation’s capital on Saturday hoping to send a message to President Donald Trump and his istration.
It was organized by the 50501 Movement, which calls for 50 rallies in 50 states on one day. People rallied against what they call a “hostile government takeover” by the Trump istration.
Don Simkin from New York was among the protestors outside the White House and said he’s scared for the country’s future.
:I have a five-year-old grandson and the poor little guy, he’s going to have to deal with a lot of unfortunate situations if things don’t change soon," said Simkin.
Saturday’s protest is the 50501 Movement’s second large-scale rally organized this month. It held nationwide “Hands Off” protests on April 5, which included a rally on the National Mall in Washington.
