Deputies continue searching for man last seen in 2023
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to search for a man who has been missing since 2023.
Authorities say Bruce Barker, 46, was last seen in February 2023 on the 2600 block of Milledgeville Road.
The sheriff’s office says Barker has disappeared under suspicious circumstances.
In 2023, deputies say a family member spoke with Barker by phone in April, but he would not tell them where he was at.
68-year-old dies in pedestrian crash on Bennock Mill Road
A 68-year-old man has died after a pedestrian crash on Monday morning, according to officials.
Barker has cerebral palsy, with little to no use of his left hand and has difficulty walking, according to the sheriff’s office.
Barker is described as six feet tall and around 200 pounds, with brown hair and eyes, authorities say.

Richmond County deputies are also searching for a missing 16-year-old. Alton Christopher was last seen on Sunday around 4:27 p.m. leaving his residence on the 1900 block of Murphy Road.
