BARNWELL, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - A former convenience store worker is charged with fraudulently getting thousands of dollars in lottery payouts, according to authorities.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division said Monday it charged Alexianna Khaleyah Fields, 21, with intent to defraud on April 9.

According to an arrest warrant, she ed South Carolina Education Lottery scratch-off tickets at multiple locations in Barnwell County between March 8 and March 11.

The arrest warrant alleges she got payouts totaling $2,081.

The arrest warrant alleges Fields fraudulently got the tickets from POPS #317 at 1000 Jackson St. in Barnwell, where she was working.
