AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Thousands of children in Georgia don’t have a family to call their own.

News 12 has begun a partnership with the nonprofit Grant Me Hope, which works to find homes for older children in the foster care system.

Today, we want to introduce you to some tight-knit siblings who are looking for a loving family that will provide them with the attention, and encouragement for ongoing therapeutic needs.

Grant Me Hope: Meet Shaidale

Shaidale

My name is Zanaya, and I’m nine.

My name is Za’karia, and I am 13 years old

My name is Janyje, and I’m 10 years old.

My name is Araya

And my little brother is Macorian.

These girls are amazing. They love each other and have always been close-knit. Za’karia, the oldest, takes care of them, and they look to her for everything.

“My little brother is so amazing. I love him so much. He’s so cute and so nice,” said Zaynaya.

Macorian, they all treat him like he’s the man of the house, and he runs the show. But they adore him, play with him and are always patient with him.

“Janyje is the sweetest little girl I’ve ever met.”

They all know how to help change diapers and how to calm her down if she’s upset.

“It’s incredibly important for us to be adopted together. We all love each other so much,” said Za’karia.

The perfect family is one that understands we’re all special in our own way. A family that is understanding and patient.

“I feel loved when I’m around them. I feel like I can trust them. I would miss them so much if we weren’t together,” said Za’karia..

Keeping them together is the most important thing. They thrive as a family, better together than apart.

And any family that welcomes them will gain the most amazing kids, because having them together is truly something special.
