Hartsfield-Jackson airport reveals significant increase in parking rates
ATLANTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Officials with Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport announced Monday that parking rates across the board will see a significant increase, with some lots experiencing a nearly 200% rise.
The change takes effect on May 1.
“Since August of 2017 to now, the consumer price index was over 34%,” said airport assistant manager Tyronia Smith. “It’s really catching the rates up with where it should be based on economic conditions.”
