ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The roots are starting to form for the 2026 governor’s race in Georgia.
Prominent Republicans and Democrats are eyeing the governor’s mansion.
Some have already thrown their hat in the ring, and others have hinted at a run for governor.
Gov. Brian Kemp cannot seek reelection since he is in his second term and cannot serve more than two.
The election is in November 2026.
