AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - For the second time this week, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team dealt with a barricaded person.

Authorities said at 1:56 p.m. Thursday that the team was in the 1400 block of Hunter Street with the U.S. Marshals Service dealing with a barricaded person.

But the situation was over by 2:12 p.m., when the suspect was in custody.

Deputies said that around 12:40 p.m., a deputy saw a known suspect, 26-year-old Terrell Crawford, in the 1400 block of Hunter Street.

After seeing the deputy, Crawford ran into a residence and barricaded himself inside, according to deputies.
