Orangeburg County sheriff is on the hunt for suspects in motel killing
ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Deputies are searching for a suspect and a person of interest in relation to a homicide in Orangeburg County, we learned on Friday.
Investigators say a warrant for murder has been obtained against Daquan Milhouse-Keitt, 27, in connection with the April 18 fatal shooting of Samson Green, 34, at the Crown Inn on Bamberg Highway.
The sheriff said investigators are also seeking Tynes Bantan, 21, of Cordova, as a person of interest in the case.
Investigators say earlier this week, Shadeed Smith, 42, of Orangeburg, was charged with accessory before the fact of a felony.
“I said this week that we would bring anyone involved to justice. I meant it,” said Sheriff Leroy Ravenell.
The slaying was one of two within 24 hours in Orangeburg County. A suspect has already been arrested in the other case – the shooting Saturday morning fatal shooting of a 20-year-old Claflin University student.
