AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The 2025 NCAA Division I men’s golf regional fields were announced.

There are 81 teams with six regional sites.

The Jags now know where to book that ticket, and they are one of 14 to get the Tallahassee regional bid.

Augusta comes in at number 12.

At the top of the list is Ole Miss, and Georgia is at number four.

The Jags are fresh off their third straight Southland Conference title.

The top five advance, so they’re hoping momentum carries them through.

“The weeks where we’ve played well, we’ve had everybody kind of play well at the same time. In the weeks we’ve struggled, we’ve played well 80% of the time, but just didn’t finish it off. So, I think what gives us confidence is when we have played well, we’ve shown we can hang with anyone,” said Steven Paine, men’s golf head coach.

We definitely have confidence, but we also know we have a lot of work to do.

So we’ve been getting back to work, and we know we’ve got about a week and a half left of practice, so we’ve got enough time to try to peak at the right time,” said Bo Blanchard, Southland Conference medalist.

The Jags played their best tournament of the year at Florida State’s host course.

The top individual not on advancing teams will also advance to the NCAA championships.

That is at the end of May.
