Lottery player wins $10,000 with ticket bought in Augusta
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A player in Augusta is among several big winners in recent days in the Georgia Lottery.
The Georgia Five player won $10,000 in the Tuesday midday drawing with a ticket from Coliseum Lotto, 808 11th St.
A Georgia Lottery player won $50,000 in the Wednesday Powerball drawing with a ticket purchased at Mulberry Grove Chevron, 4206 Georgia Highway 315, Fortson. The winning ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers and the Powerball number, which were 01-02-03-57-59 with a Powerball number of 09. The Power Play multiplier was 2X. The next Powerball drawing will take place on Saturday with an estimated jackpot of $44 million.
Additionally, a Tucker resident won $10,000 playing Keno! on the Georgia Lottery mobile app.
Winners in Georgia have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes.
Lottery proceeds benefit education in Georgia.
