Kimberly-Clark bringing new jobs with CSRA plant expansion
AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Kimberly-Clark says it is expanding its current facility in Beech Island.
The producer of personal care products said its investment of more than $200 million will create more than 150 new jobs.
We told you in Feb. that Kimberly-Clark was looking to expand after Aiken County ed a tax incentive.

The company’s commitment to investing in South Carolina is truly something worth celebrating, and we congratulate Kimberly-Clark and Aiken County on this milestone,” said Governor Henry McMaster.
Second annual Tacos and Taquila event held in Evans
Thursday evening, Evans Towne Center Park held the second annual Tacos and Tequila event, including dances, competitions, and much more.

Kimberly-Clark has been in Aiken for more than 50 years, and employs more than 2,000 people in the county.

Kimberly-Clark has been a cornerstone in Aiken County’s economy for decades, and this investment represents a continued vote of confidence in our community and what it offers the manufacturing sector. Maintaining a business-friendly environment is not only good for business, but also for the county, the taxpayers and the talented workforce on Kimberly-Clark’s team,” said Aiken County Council Chairman Gary Bunker.
Kimberly-Clark will add 1.1 million square feet to its existing facility located at 246 Old Jackson Highway in Beech Island.
Established in 1968, the Beech Island manufacturing facility is already the company’s largest globally.
