AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Cool nights with sunshine filled, warm days will be an ongoing theme through Tuesday, then another frontal system moves into the region and stalls for a few days putting rain back in the forecast Wednesday through Saturday.

Skies will be on the cloudy side during that time, so afternoon highs will be a couple degrees cooler than average Wednesday through Friday and morning lows will be warmer than average in the upper 50s Wednesday and near 60 Thursday and Friday.

Mostly sunny and cooler than average today with afternoon highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. West to southwest wind at 8 to 13 mph.

Showers and storms will be possible again Wednesday through Friday next week as our next front arrives and stalls over the region. This will bring us beneficial rain as we are experiencing moderate drought conditions across a good portion of the CSRA. Keep it here for updates!
