Man facing charges after being caught sitting naked in terminal at airport, police say

CLAYTON, Mo. (KMOV/Las Vegas) - A man who police say has a record of indecent exposure is facing new charges after police at St. Louis Lambert International Airport arrested him for sitting naked in a chair in the terminal.
St. Louis County prosecutors charged 30-year-old Darrius D. Walker on Monday with counts of first-degree sexual misconduct as a second offense, fourth-degree assault and resisting arrest stemming from an April 25 incident.
All the charges are misdemeanors. A warrant has been issued for Walker’s arrest with a $2,500 bond.
Lambert Airport authorities said in a charging affidavit that Walker was sitting in a chair in Terminal 1 naked. When a witness approached, he allegedly tried to cover himself.
Police found Walker sitting in the chair with his belt unbuckled and asked him for identification, but he told them he hadn’t done anything wrong and ran, the affidavit stated.
Police caught up with him and Walker allegedly hit an officer, knocking their glasses off.
Walker was taken into custody but released at some point pending criminal charges, which were filed Monday.
Police said he has several priors, including one open case and one guilty plea to indecent exposure, and two pending cases for miscellaneous sex offenses.
An initial court appearance has not been set.
