Wagener-Salley native 803Fresh honored at S.C. State House

COLUMBIA, S.C. - A South Carolina musical artist was among those honored at the State House on Tuesday.
A resolution honoring 803Fresh and his hit single “Boots on the Ground” was read inside the South Carolina House of Representatives.
The resolution will also recognize other artists such as King George, Charmeka Joquelle and Frank Johnson for their contributions to the Southern Soul scene.
The resolution was read soon after noon as the artist and others were in the chamber’s balcony
803Fresh is a native of the Wagener-Salley area.
