23-year-old arrested, drugs seized in Aiken County operation
WARRENVILLE, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - A 23-year-old Warrenville man is facing charges after narcotic investigators dismantled a major drug operation in Aiken County, according to officials.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office says this operation, which happened on Tuesday, resulted in “the seizure of multiple strands of raw Marijuana and several thousand Marijuana THC-infused gummies and vape pens with an estimated street value of around $500,000.”
The agency says George Huntington is charged with trafficking in marijuana. According to inmate bookings, his bond was not set as of Wednesday.
SGA Elementary staffer resigns after allegedly grabbing students face
An elementary school staffer in Burke County has resigned amid an ongoing investigation that he grabbed a student’s face, according to the Burke County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials say they received information on a large pallet being shipped from California to the North Augusta area that possibly contained marijuana.
“This is a significant victory in our ongoing fight against the illegal drug trade, and we will continue to work with our community, local, state, and federal partners to keep our streets safe,” the sheriff’s office said in the release.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the FBI and the North Augusta Department of Public Safety.

- 70 pounds of hybrid marijuana
- 5 pounds of marijuana resin
- 2500 THC-infused gummies
- 5000 THC vape pens
