AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A man wanted in Richmond County for charges involving the exploitation of his step-grandfather was arrested in Florida.

Lamontra Medlock, 49, was taken into custody last week in St. Augustine, Florida, by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, which includes two Richmond County Sheriff’s Office investigators.

The task force normally focuses on violent offenders, but the nature of Medlock’s alleged crimes prompted the assistance.

Medlock was arrested on a Grand Jury Warrant for Exploitation and Intimidation of a Disabled Adult, Elder Person, or Resident, 12 counts of Felony Theft by Deception, and one count of Misdemeanor Theft by Deception.
