AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Totally dry weather returns today! It stayed breezy with winds out of the west 10-15 mph and warmer with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies during the day. Highs reached upper 80s.
Staying dry Friday with mostly cloudy skies during the day. Friday is expected to be the hottest day of the week with highs in the low to mid-90s. Heat Index may reach as high as 100° Friday afternoon.
The weekend forecast looks warm with the chance for a shower or storm both days. Highs Saturday and Sunday will be near 90. There is a low severe risk for your Saturday for severe storms capable of producing damaging wind gusts 40-60 mph and hail up 1″ in diameter.
