The donation will directly benefit Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes, a nonprofit dedicated to providing love, safety, and stability to the state’s most at-risk youths.

The program was established in 1960 in response to growing concerns among Georgia sheriffs about the number of abandoned, neglected and abused children across the state.

Their vision was to create a nurturing home environment where children could grow into mature, successful adults.

The first home, the Georgia Sheriffs’ Boys Ranch near Hahira, opened with a mission to instill life skills, discipline, and strong moral values. Since then, the program has grown to five full-time residential campuses for both boys and girls. Residents live in a structured, ive environment and attend public schools while receiving:

  • Life skills training – Cooking, cleaning, money management, and more
  • Educational – Tutoring, scholarship assistance, and summer learning opportunities

Additionally, Camp Pioneer, located on the Pineland Campus in LaGrange, provides outdoor recreation and summer camp experiences for children who would not otherwise have the opportunity.

“These youth homes reflect the very best of what law enforcement can do for our communities—offering , hope, and a future to children who need it most,” Brantley said. “We are honored to contribute to a program that continues to change lives across Georgia.”
