AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Hot and muggy this afternoon with mostly cloudy skies during the day. Today is expected to be the hottest day of the week with highs in the low to mid-90s. Heat Index may reach as high as 100°.
The weekend forecast looks warm with the chance for a shower or storm both days. Highs Saturday and Sunday will be near 90. There is a low severe risk for your Saturday for severe storms capable of producing damaging wind gusts 40-60 mph and hail up 1″ in diameter.
