Hunters across Georgia can now wear a new safety color: pink

ATLANTA, Ga. - Recently ed legislation will allow hunters in Georgia to now wear pink as a safety color during hunting season.
On May 9, Gov. Brian Kemp signed House Bill 167 into law. The bill authorizes fluorescent pink hunting outer garments.
According to the bill, when hunting hogs, bears, and deer, the hunter, and the accompanying person, must be wearing “at least 500 square inches of daylight fluorescent orange or fluorescent pink material as an outer garment.”
The material must be worn above the waistline and may include a head covering.
