Local teacher makes it on ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - A local teacher gained some recognition on The Jennifer Hudson Show Friday.

For the “What are you celebrating segment,” Courtney Robinson is a kindergarten teacher at Redcliffe Elementary School, and she’s celebrating being the teacher of the year.

Let me tell you about Courtney, from Aiken, South Carolina. She just won teacher of the year. She teaches kindergarten,, there she is right there with her little boy and mom, keep up the good work Courtney. We are celebrating you guys, how adorable is that,” said Hudson.

Georgia Military College at Augusta celebrates its 2025 graduating class

Georgia Military College at Augusta held its graduation for the 2025 class Friday morning. The college is also celebrating its 145th anniversary.
