WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - Sunday afternoon, the office of former President Joe Biden confirmed he’s been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.

Starting Sunday night, Congress returns to Capitol Hill to hammer out details on President Trump’s budget, which he calls “one big beautiful bill.” The House Budget Committee is set to meet Sunday at 10 p.m. ET with Republican leaders hoping will vote to advance the legislation after a committee vote failed Friday with bipartisan opposition.

The proposed budget has steep tax cuts for the rich and adds funding to the border and military. The bipartisan pushback stems from the shrinking of Medicaid and other social programs while some hardline conservatives are demanding more cuts. If ed, economists expect this budget to add to the national debt.

President Trump posted on Truth Social Saturday he will speak with both Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin via phone Monday to try to broker a peace deal between the two nations.

Also Monday, President Trump will sign the Take It Down Act. A priority of First Lady Melania Trump, the bipartisan bill fights deepfake nudes and revenge porn.

Wednesday, President Trump will welcome South African President Cyril Ramaphosa to the White House. He is visiting Washington to “reset” relations between the two countries. The U.S. recently took in white South African refugees who said they were being persecuted in their homeland.

Also Wednesday, country music singer Martina McBride testifies to the Senate Judiciary Committee about AI and fakes.

Also this week, the U.S. Supreme Court may issue rulings on several pending cases.

Saturday, President Trump will address West Point cadets during the commencement ceremony at the U.S. Military Academy.
