Aiken Tech breaks ground on new nursing building

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Aiken Technical College broke ground on its new Nursing and Education Center Monday morning.
The ceremony marked the start of the construction phase for the 30,000 square foot building.

Downtown Augusta businesses are up in arms over plans to replace parking with bike lanes — something that could affect all of us.
Once it’s done it will be the home of the college’s School of Nursing.
There will be simulations and skills labs - faculty spaces and more ways to prepare the nurses of the future.
