Aiken County deputies respond to home near Old Friar Road

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Deputies were at a home near Old Friar Road and Bent Arrow Road on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office says deputies were executing a search warrant at a home in the area.
A witness told News 12 that they saw multiple Aiken County deputies around a home on Bent Arrow Road near the 200 block of Old Friar Road around noon.
It was very close to where a shooting happened a couple of years ago.
Back in 2023, Lloyd Widener III, 23, was fatally shot in the 200 block of Old Friar Road, about three miles north of the Aiken city limits.
Widener was pronounced dead on the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.
