City of North Augusta to begin mosquito spraying today

The city of North Augusta's mosquito control program will begin to spray low levels of mosquito magician in various parts of the city.

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - The city of North Augusta will begin mosquito spraying on Wednesday to protect the community.

The city’s Mosquito Control Program will continue spraying until October 22.

A truck will spray low levels of Mosquito Magician, an environmentally friendly product that consists of essential oils, in parts of the city on Wednesdays from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m.

Plans are taking shape for a new shopping center at the site of the former First Baptist Church of Evans. If all goes as planned, it will have shopping, a couple of restaurants and even a bank branch.

If you do not want your property to get sprayed, you can submit an online mosquito spray exclusion form.
