AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Less humid feeling air arrives today and should stick around through the weekend.

The “cooling” trend continues Friday with sunrise temperatures near 60 and afternoon highs in the mid-80s. Slight breeze expected with wind 10-15 sustained during the day. Widely scattered rain chances will arrive for the first half of your Friday with a drier finish expected approaching sunset.

Weekend looks mostly dry with the chance for a few showers/storms arriving by Sunday. Morning lows will be in the upper 50s Saturday and near 60 Sunday. Saturday highs will be in the low to mid-80s. Sunday highs will be hot again in the upper 80s.

Better storm chances expected by Memorial Day Monday. A front will be stalling near the CSRA and bring the chance for scattered storms, mainly in the afternoon. Highs will be warm in the upper 80s. Scattered storm chances are expected to extend into Tuesday with the front hanging around the region. Keep it here for updates during the week!
