CLEMSON, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Clemson softball is in Texas for the NCAA Super Regionals.
Head coach John Rittman said he sometimes needs to pinch himself with the success the tigers have sustained through their first six years as a program, but credits this season’s accolades to their unique identity.
Deputies respond to car crash that ends in Wagener pond
Law enforcement is responding to an accident in which a car ended up in a Wagener pond, according to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.
“You know, we look at things as opportunities, and this is another opportunity to do something that people may not expect you to do. Win a tough ranked series on the road, beat the number one team at the time, Tennessee, on the road. I think our team just loves to play the game. They love the challenges that lie ahead of them,” said Rittman.
Clemson has advanced to the NCAA regionals each of the last five seasons.
