(Gray News) - The United States Coast Guard shared a video of of the OceanGate communications and tracking team monitoring the Titan submersible on June 18, 2023.

In the video, Wendy Rush, the wife of OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, can be heard asking, “Was that a bang?” after a sound is heard at the 24-second mark.

The sound is now correlated with the loss of communications and tracking. Investigators believe the sound is of the Titan’s implosion, according to the Coast Guard.

Neither Wendy Rush nor Gary Foss, another OceanGate employee, seemed to be alarmed at the sound.

The Titan submersible was on an expedition to explore the Titanic wreckage when it imploded.

Stockton Rush, British billionaire Hamish Harding, French maritime and Titanic expert Paul-Henri Nargeolet, and a father and son from one of Pakistan’s most prominent families, Shahzada Dawood and Suleman Dawood, were all on the Titan submersible when it imploded.
