AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Edgefield County deputies were searching for an elderly man near the Mount Vintage subdivision early Thursday morning.

Rider sent to hospital after hit-and-run in Richmond County

The incident occurred on the 3700 block of Wheeler Road involving a motorcycle and another vehicle on Wednesday evening.

Richmond County Sheriff's Office generic, Augusta, Ga.

We’re not sure why deputies were searching for him, but deputies say they found him around 3:45 a.m.
