AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - An employee with the Columbia County Fire Department was arrested after he was accused of rape, according to authorities.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says they have arrested 20-year-old Zander Ean McDade in connection with two separate rape investigations.

McDade has been charged with two counts of rape, involving two different victims at different times and locations, according to deputies.

According to reports, his listed employer is the Columbia County Fire Department.

Richmond County inmates graduate from job training program

Several inmates at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center graduated from a food-service program that has prepared them with job skills they can use when they’ve been released.
