One lucky lottery player hauls in a big win in Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Tuesday was a lucky day for a lottery player in Augusta and others across the state.
A player in Augusta won $90,000 playing the electronic Keno game, according to the Georgia Lottery.

Augusta commissioners have made it official: They don’t want James Brown’s name removed from the downtown arena when it’s rebuilt.
Also Tuesday:
- A Covington resident won the jackpot for $529,972 in the June 3 Fantasy 5 drawing with a ticket purchased on the Georgia Lottery mobile app. The ticket matched all five of the winning numbers, which were 06-27-28-35-36.
- A Brookhaven resident won $20,000 in the Mega Millions drawing. The ticket was purchased on the mobile app and matched four of the five white balls plus the Mega Ball. It had a built-in multiplier of 2X, doubling the prize from $10,000 to $20,000. The winning numbers were 16-24-29-36-45 with a Mega Ball of 13.
- A resident of Fayetteville won $45,000 playing Keno and a Warner Robbins resident won $11,556 playing Elephant King Jackpots.
