Man arrested for alleged child sexual conduct in Beech Island
BEECH ISLAND, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - A man has been arrested after he was accused of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, according to authorities.
Kenneth Gray, 50, was arrested on Wednesday in connection to the incident.
New details released in shooting on May Street in Johnston
The Johnston Police Department says one person was injured in the shooting that happened on May Street at 6:01 p.m.
According to the incident report, deputies responded to a home in Beech Island on Feb. 18 for a sexual assault.
The victim told deputies Gray had inappropriately touched her, according to the report.
The report states the lewd acts started when the victim was 8 years old.
Burke County commissioners ask Kemp to investigate sheriff
The chairman of the Burke County Board of Commissioners wants the governor to investigate Alfonzo Williams.
According to the incident report, the victim stated the acts happened several times at multiple locations.
According to jail reports, Gary is charged with criminal sexual conduct with minor with a victim under 11 years of age in the first degree, criminal sexual conduct with minor with a victim 11 to 14 years of age in the second degree and three counts of criminal sexual conduct with minor in the third degree.
