Alexis Thornton is a native of Atlanta, Ga., and a proud graduate of Alabama State University where she received her Bachelors in Mass Communications in May of 2023. 3y6e55
She is the face of WTVM's 9 and Dine segment - where she gives our viewers weekly scores of local restaurant ratings.
While at ASU, she was incredibly involved in student leadership roles and organized many community service events for the Montgomery community.
During her last semester of college, Alexis was a news intern with our sister station, WSFA Channel 12 News Station.
When she is not writing news articles, she enjoys trying new foods, traveling, and organizing community events. Alexis is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
