Anastassia Olmos, Stassi for short, is an Emmy-award winning journalist who ed Atlanta News First Investigates in 2024. She’s reported in cities across the US from Tampa, Florida to Los Angeles, California. She also shoots and edits her own investigations. 6s5o

She was born and raised in Los Angeles where she graduated with a bachelors from the University of Southern California. She then obtained a masters degree from Columbia Journalism School in New York City.

Some of the more notable issues she has investigated include Pro-Palestinian and Pro-Israeli protests in Los Angeles, the property insurance crisis in Florida, the 2019 Murdaugh boat crash in South Carolina, and the Christmas Day bombing in Downtown Nashville.

Her reporting focuses on bigger impact and consumer investigations, holding the powerful able and helping people in some of their lowest times.

Olmos is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. When she’s not working, she loves traveling, cooking, and spending time with her rescue dogs.
