Man suspected in Poplar Street death arrested in Jacksonville on murder charges

AUGUSTA, GA (WRDW/WAGT) -- A 59-year-old man will be charged with the murder of a 77-year-old man who was found dead following a welfare check.
According to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office,
An investigation into the case found that Bland's car was missing and later found in Brunswick.
Bland, according to investigators, also had a second person living at his address: Samuel Brown, 59.
Brown was found in Jacksonville, FL where he was later arrested and charged in Bland's death.
The nature of Bland's death has not yet been revealed.
