Recount for Blythe city council member complete, next runoff July

BLYTHE, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- The May 22nd early elections are over but for some candidates, vote counts were too close to call.
After a tie between Cardova and Martin for the Blythe City Councilmember race, a recount was necessary.
Tonight (Friday), after completing the recount, the results have not changed.
Blythe City Councilmember candidates will have to wait until the next runoff which will be held on July 24th.
