Shooting at Smart Grocery injures one, no suspect info released yet

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT)-- One person is injured after a shooting in a parking lot on Wrightsboro Road. Investigators say they found the victim in the parking lot of the Smart Grocery store.
Richmond County deputies got a call at 9:36 p.m. about possible shots fired at Smart Grocery--the gas station and strip mall just outside of Fox Den Apartments. Once deputies got on scene, they found a victim lying on the ground with at least two gunshot wounds in their mid-section.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, where they are in critical condition but are stable.
RCSO is still searching for a suspect. The identity of a possible suspect has not been released.
